Free conference at Islamic Arts Museum, Kuala Lumpur

‘Global arts and the Islamic world: Documenting Islamic arts worldwide’, Islamic Arts Museum, Kuala Lumpur, 23 August 2018

The art libraries division of IFLA is organising a free conference at Malaysia’s prestigious Islamic Arts Museum in connection with the world IFLA conference being held in Kuala Lumpur. Speakers include:

Tim Stanley, Senior Curator for the Middle Eastern Collection, Victoria and Albert Museum, London

Vandana Sinha, Director of the Center for Art & Archaeology, American Institute of Indian Studies, India

Christine Ferret, National Institute of the History of Art, Paris (INHA)

Susan Parker-Leavy, Museum of Islamic Arts, Qatar

Rene-Vincent Dugrandlaunay op, Dominican Institute for Oriental Studies, Cairo
